Campus
UIET has been established in an area of Ac 5.0404 decimals. The campus accomplishes with the laboratories, workshop to satisfy the practical needs of the students. An inmate of UIET team has the prosperity of the feelings of independence, self dependence, self actualization with in the Campus.
Computer with Internet Facilities
UIET has advanced internet Lab with advanced technology set up. It has LAN network with over forty terminals.
The college has 24 hours leased line 10mbps internet connectivity of BSNL. All the technical departments are networked with LAN/WAN connecting all the labs, staff rooms and the library. The Network Operations Centre is equipped with IBM server. Ample computing facilities are provided linking each student with a PC. There are more than 200 computers with latest configuration in all the labs.
Library
The Library is equiped with a Library automation Software. A source of unlimited knowledge and information for students ever enthusiastic about learning is inside the UIET library, with space to accommodate many students at the same time. A powerhouse in itself, it is the place most frequented by students. UIET has a well-stocked, library with a vast collection of more than 10000 text Books as well as reference books written by well known Indian & foreign authors on Engineering and other subjects, reference books, CDs. More than 500 titles of text are available in the library apart from that 20 periodicals (journals & magazines) are subscribed regularly in order to keep pace with information on the latest developments in the world. The library provides computerized information as per the requirements.
Hostel
There is a separate hostel for girls, situated within the campus and the boys’ hostel located near the college campus. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, self contained and duly maintained. It also has the unique telecom facility for incoming calls only. There are however, a set of rules and regulations that have to be strictly adhered to. The hostel has bed, table, chair and electrical fittings with 24-hour water supply Several newspapers as well as magazines are subscribed and TV is also provided to get them relaxed during leisure and also to get themselves updated. The Computer Centre and Library are kept open for residents of the hostel.
Transportation
UIET occupied 2 furnished buses which caters to the transport needs of students, staff and visiting guests and provides links from campus to Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Jatni etc.
Canteen
UIET has well furnished neat and clean canteen with two times breakfirst, Lunch & Dinner facilities for the students and Staff members. The Institute provides hyginic food for the students and staffs.
Lecture Room
The Institute provides adequate number of classrooms which are well-equipped with modern design standards and latest teaching methodology with the help of LCD, OHP and audio-visual equipment are also available to impart the best theoretical practices.
Conference Hall
UIET built up a big Conference Hall which accommodates meetings & seminars with capacity of more then 70 seats capacity. Apart from this the hall is also used for group discussion and Socio Cultural functions. The hall is well equiped with mordern technology and well furnshing with all facilities required for to conducting meeting or seminars.
Audotorium
The Institute has a more then 200 seated air-conditioned auditorium is built up on about 10000 sq. feet area. UIET plans to host various conferences , seminars and workshops in the auditorium. In these days of fierce competition, professionals need to be good at a variety of skills like public speaking, presentation, argument and debate, etc. conduct human life development programs like music & drama, dance and other cultural activities the Institute always feel the improveme the skill of student and staff members and developed all the infrastructure as per the requirements.
Seminar Hall
The Institute has seminar hall with adequate capacity to accommodate more than 100 people. The hall is equipped with the latest facilities & Spacious. The seminar hall provide for the right ambience for big gatherings and also for interactions with the guest lecturers and also used for conferences and workshops. Very often, experts from different fields are invited to address the students and share their valuable experiences with the students and some times for the faculty members. The seminar hall is built up area is more then 10000 sq. feet area.
Sports
Sports is the best way to provide good health and physically fit for everyone. For this purpose UIET built up a Sports Complex, functioning to ensure the needs of sports activities for the students and staff members. A large playground is ready in the campus for Basketball,Football,Hokey,Cricket and other Indian games. The Institute provides coaching facility for the above games. A beautiful swimming pool is in under construction for offing to cater to the needs of the students.
